Originally from South Florida, Dr. Romy Conroyd brings a fresh expertise to Peabody Smile Design. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Conroyd was inspired to go into dentistry because she wanted to establish a welcoming dental experience where all of her patients felt comfortable. She strives to create an environment where her patients feel like they’re being treated by family and like they’re not just another number, as dentistry can so often feel.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Conroyd went to the University of Central Florida, got her master's degree at Barry University, and attended the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Massachusetts Dental Society. These memberships allow her to stay abreast of the latest findings and research in dentistry to implement into her care.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When she’s not spending time playing frisbee with her miniature Australian Shepherd, who happens to be the best dog ever, Dr. Conroyd loves taking walks on the beach and traveling. One interesting fact about her is that her favorite animals (besides her dog, of course) are cows!
